What would you really like to achieve this year?
Wow! Can you believe it’s now 2012? When I was a child I was sure we’d all be flying around in hovercrafts by now! It seems I was wrong.
I’m sure you’re in full holiday mode, so I’ll keep this month’s newsletter short.
New Year’s Resolutions – have you made one this year? So many people make them, but they seem to be broken or forgotten about almost as easily.
If you want to achieve your New Year’s Resolution this year, your unconscious mind needs to know it’s important, not just something to be considered briefly then forgotten. Let your unconscious mind know your goal is important by giving it reminders – put a message on your bathroom mirror or stick it the fridge.
It’s great too to vividly imagine having that outcome – what you will see, what you will hear, and what you will feel. Spending even a couple of minutes doing this each day will let your mind know that it’s important and give it direction to follow.
But don’t forget the most important thing! Take action! What small thing can you do in the next 15 minutes towards making your goal happen? Writing it down or telling someone about it would be a great start as people who do those things are far more likely to achieve their goals.
Have a wonderful 2012! May it be your best year yet!
